LOCKO whose real name is Charles Arthur Locko Samba born may 8, 1992 is a recording artist, song writter, singer and beat maker which has worked with record labels like "Big Dreams, Universal Music Africa, Calabash Music of Wax dey". He grew up surrounded by musicians and instrumentalist and he learned how to sing at the age of 7 in which he could play some music instruments. His origin is French and he followed the English system of education. In 2010 he started publishing cover of hit songs for other artists and with stage name "Shawmey Locko" in 2014 he recorded "Perfect girl" ft Numerica got signed under "Big Dreams" in 2015 and released his first EP in 2015 titled "Skyzo" in December 2015 in which he short the video of his giant song "Ndutu" which opened doors and gave him national recognition. In 2018, he released his first studio album called "The Bridge" compose of 18 and dropped another studio project in 2020 called Cloud 9ine.

He won multiple awards national and international. The Brigde is the most streamed Cameroon album of all type.
