Ma Njungi best know by her stage name Askia is a song writer,Rapper and singer who hails from the South West Region, she is married and has one kid. After her first single tat obasseh, she surprised her fans with another beautiful song titled gimme the koko .Askia is a crowd pleaser and has been working hard to make her style of music unique in the game she was later on signed to Alpha Better Records owned by Salatiel and they label featured all the artist and released very powerful collaborations which topped music playlists in Cameroon and Francophone Africa. She releases singles and collaboration back to back and very consistent in her music career.

Askia is a multi award winning artist who has made her old record labels proud in many aspects concerning her music career. She has featured in many award winning songs and in 2019 her song was crown Best Hip hop song of the year in an award ceremony.
