Michael Owusu Addo pularly known by his stage name Sarkodie is a famous Ghanaian hip hop raper, songwriter, recording artist, stage performer, entrepreneur and philanthropist. He is popularly regarded as the fastest rapper in Africa. Born in 1988 in Ghana . Sarkodie recorded his first debut studio album "Makye" with the release of his first hit single "babe" featuring Mugeez of the dou R2Bees. He currently own his own record label called Sukcess Music .

He has own awards such as the BET Awards, MTV, AFRIMMA, AFRIMA. He is known tobe the most decorated African rapper. He also owns "The Sarkodie Foundation" . Sakodie has signed endorsement deals with companies such as Samsung, Parnership deals with Tigo, FanMilk Ghana etc.
