Kowan Smith Bright popularly known by his stage name Kowan is a young Rapper, composer and singer who hails from Bamenda, Cameroon. He was born 27th July 2011. As a kid, he uses electronic materials to practice music with other kids and that is how his talent was discovered. Kowan has released songs like "Time to shine, Hear me out" releasing cover songs of popular artist like Tzy Panchak. He got national attention after winning 237Showbiz music contest at the age of 8.

He is a brand ambassador at "Kids Hall Of Talent Foundation" branded and promoted there. He is so consistent in his career releasing hits and they get to top chats at time. Kowan has an album which is massively loaded with quality tracks had a lot of sales. In December 2019 Kowan performed on the same stage with African stars like "Samuel Eto'o, Diamond Platnumz, Kerozen, Stanley enow...." at the "Beto'o concert" organized by Eto'o.
