David Adedeji Adeleke was born on November 21, 1992 and he is better known as Davido. Davido is an American-born Nigerian singer, songwriter and record producer. Davido was born in Atlanta, US, and raised in Lagos; he made his music debut as a member of the music group KB International. He studied business administration at Oakwood University before dropping out to make beats and record vocal references. Davido rose to fame after releasing Dami Duro.

The 30 Billion gang crooner has attained an impressive position of being the seventh on the list of most influential African people in the world. He made a record on YouTube, as his popular single, ‘Fall’ hits 150 million views on YouTube as the first Afrobeats song to attain this views. Davido set another record for himself as he becomes the first African celebrity to hit one million likes on a post on Instagram after he shared a photo of himself and his newborn, Adedeji David, whom he welcomed in the early hours of Sunday, 20 October 2020. He was ranked the richest Nigerian on Instagram, with his single post valued at over N26 million. Davido had over 500 million views across all his uploads on the platform. Davido has received a plaque from Sony Music Entertainment over his recent achievement ,The singer’s A Good Time album hit one billion. Davido is among the most Decorated African Artist with awards such as MTV Africa best Artist twice, Best International Artist at BET, AFRIMA, AFRIMMA etc
